The firm of Kornfield, Nyberg, Bendes & Kuhner was formed in April 1986 through the merger of two highly successful Offices -- the Law Office of Irving J. Kornfield and the Law Office of Aaron Paul. The firm, which was initially established as a general partnership, sought to establish itself as a top flight commercial law, litigation and bankruptcy boutique firm in the East Bay. The firm has met that goal. Kornfield, Nyberg, Bendes & Kuhner presently has three attorneys. The firm incorporated in January, 1993, and is AV rated* by Martindale Hubbell.

The firm specializes in providing legal services to debtors, creditors, trustees and committees in bankruptcy and related matters. The firm also has a broad and extensive practice in commercial, business matters and civil litigation. The recent addition of Charles N Bendes brings to the firm his depth of experience in real property and business litigation and trial practice as well as transactions, entity formation and corporate governance.
